UNA 2017: Stallworth appeared in 14 matches with four starts for the Lions last season...she had 26 kills and added 26 blocks on the year for a team-high 0.81 per-set average...also had seven digs...recorded a season-high five kills in back-to-back matches at the GSC/SSC Crossover against Saint Leo and Barry...also had a career-high six blocks in the opening round of the NCAA Tournament.
OTHER COLLEGE: She played two seasons at Columbus State University for coach Casey Cornett...played in 25 matches for the Cougars in 2016, totaling 58 kills...was third on the team with 43 total blocks...was also a member of the 2016 Peach Belt Conference All-Academic Team...played in 19 matches in 2015, getting nine starts at middle...recorded 75 kills and averaged 1.44 kills per set...was second on the team with 33 blocks, including 10 solos.
HIGH SCHOOL: She played for coach Chris Langley at South Gwinnett High School...earned first team all-area honors as a senior and second-team honors during her sophomore and junior campaigns...set a school record for most blocks in a season during the 2013 season.

PERSONAL: Her full name is Malaisia Jael Stallworth. She is the daughter of Marvin Stallworth and Matreece Wagstaff. She was born on August 22, 1997 and has three sisters. She is majoring in exercise science at UNA.
