Biography

UNA INDOOR: Brandstetter also played the 2018 season for the UNA indoor volleyball team...she played in the first six matches of the season before an injury sidelined her for the rest of the year...averaged 2.33 kills per set as a true freshman...added 37 digs and seven service aces.

HIGH SCHOOL: She prepped at Rupert-Gymnasium Muehldorf in Germany...played both indoor and beach volleyball...took part in 13 German championships, helping lead the indoor team to a third-place finish at the 2018 20U nationals and seven straight top-10 finishes in beach play...also played beach in Italy in 2016 and participated in indoor tournaments in Italy in 2013 and Austria in 2015.
 
PERSONAL: Her full name is Sophia Felicitas Franziska Brandstetter. She is the daughter of Paul and Monika Brandstetter. She was born on September 16, 1999 and has two brothers. She is majoring in Spanish at UNA.
