Biography
UNA 2015: Quintanilla saw action in all 119 sets for the Lions last season...she totaled 213 kills, averaging 1.79 per set and was second on the team with 68 total blocks...also produced 11 assists and 49 digs...reached double figures in kills six times, twice equaling her career-high of 12 kills...added six blocks on Nov. 22 in the Gulf South Conference Championship match against West Florida.
UNA 2014: She played in 13 matches, including six starts in 2014...recorded 52 kills on the year, averaging 1.62 per set...totaled eight assists, nine total blocks and 15 digs...had a season-high 12 kills on Oct. 25 during a 3-1 win at UAH.
UNA 2013: She saw action in all 33 matches as a true freshman for the Lions in 2013...had 17 starts and played in a total of 111 sets...averaged 1.95 kills per set after totaling 216 for the season...also had five assists, 50 digs and 63 total blocks on the year...recorded a career-high 15 kills with four blocks on Oct. 25 at home against West Georgia.
HIGH SCHOOL: She played right side for coach Rodne Pritchett at Hononegah High School in Roscoe, Illinois...helped lead the Indians to the 2010 conference title and back-to-back regional titles in 2010 and 2011...earned all-conference and MVP honors during her senior year...finished second in the conference in kills per set (2.6) and hitting percentage (.371) as a senior.
PERSONAL: Her full name is Victoria Ann Quintanilla. She is the daughter of Nick and Ann Quintanila. She was born on February 13, 1995 and has one brother, Sam. She is majoring in art at UNA.
