Chase Glover was hired as North Alabama's Coordinator of Communications on August 1, 2024.
Glover is the primary contact for the soccer, baseball, cross country and men's golf programs. He is also the secondary contact for the football and men's basketball programs. In addition to his sports information duties, Glover also coordinates various social media initiatives for UNA Athletics.
"Chase has mastered multiple media platforms and made a tremendous impact as a student at UNA," said Assistant AD for Communications Mike Ezekiel. "It was a no-brainer for us to bring him back to his alma mater and add him to our media relations staff. Chase is a driven individual with the tools to succeed as both a marketing and communications professional. I look forward to watching him grow in this profession."
Glover came to UNA from Murfreesboro, Tenn. where he worked for Nashville Superspeedway in a Marketing intern capacity from January to July of 2024. Glover helped lead promotional outreach to support ticket sales, statistical analysis to understand the consumer audience and worked as a media liaison throughout their annual Ally 400 race weekend.
Prior to Nashville Superspeedway, Glover served as a Marketing and Athletics assistant at Middle Tennessee State University starting in the summer of 2023 until the end of the calendar sports season in 2024. While at MTSU, he provided campus athletic outreach, served as the football and basketball emcee and executed promotional partnerships for local and national businesses throughout live events.
Prior to MTSU, Glover acquired various roles on the University of North Alabama campus. Some of the roles include UNA Athletics production, ESPN+ Statistician and Sports Editor for the Flor-Ala.
Outside of college athletics, Glover hosts his own podcast coined 'Three Bold Takes' based around college football, worked with Fox Sports Shoals and served as PA announcer for local high schools in the Shoals community.
Glover completed his Bachelor's of Science in Communications from the University of North Alabama in 2022. He then earned his Master's of Science in Media & Entertainment from Middle Tennessee State University in 2024. He originally is from the Birmingham area (Columbiana, Ala.) and currently resides in Florence.
