LIONS SWEEP CBU TO CLINCH GSC TOURNEY BERTH

MEMPHIS, Tenn., – Lexie Bradley had 18 kills with a career-high .783 hitting percentage as the University of North Alabama volleyball team clinched a spot in the upcoming Gulf South Conference Tournament with a 3-0 sweep at Christian Brothers on Friday. The 25-17, 25-16, 25-10 victory completes the season sweep over the Lady Bucs and gives UNA a 22-4 record on the season with a 12-3 record in GSC play.
 
Bradley, the reigning GSC Offensive Player of the Week, produced her 18 kills on just 23 swings without an attack error. As a team, the Lions only committed three errors and finished the match with a .447 team hitting percentage.
 
Natasha Fomina also reached double digits in kills with 10 on the night. Setter Jayden Davila-McClary paced the offensive attack with 37 assists. Defensively, Peyton Lang led the way with 11 digs.
 
Mary Kathryn Miller led Christian Brothers (13-12 overall, 8-7 GSC) with 12 kills on the night.
 
UNA will play at Union on Saturday. Match time is set for 2 p.m. on the UU campus in Jackson, Tenn.
