FLORENCE, Ala. --
Devan Traglia held Lee to just two runs on two hits as the University of North Alabama downed the Flames 10-2 in the Gulf South Conference series finale at Mike Lane Field.
UNA and Lee split a double-header Sunday but the Lions put the series in the win column Monday in a seven inning, rain-shortened game. With the win, UNA is 14-7 overall and alone in first place in the GSC at 9-3. Lee is now 15-7 overall and 6-6 in the GSC.
Lee put a run on the board in the top of the first on two walks and a single. UNA then took the lad for good with a five-run second inning. The Lions combined three hits, two walks and an error to plate five runs. Chris Blake and

Logan Carter drove in a run on a fielder's choice and Kyle hubbuch closed it with a two-run single.

Ben Cooley in the third made it 6-1 and RBI by
Drake Tucker,
Brandt Holland Cooley in the fourth extended the lead to 9-1.
Traglia retired 16 of the 17 batters that he faced from the end of the first inning until Miguel Pimentel homered to lead off the seventh. The Lions got the run back in the bottom of the seventh on a Hubuch double and an RBI-single by Tucker.
The game was later called after a rain delay in the top of the eighth inning.
Traglia (3-0) got the win, allowing two runs on two hits with four walks and nine strikeouts over seven complete innings. Jumpei Akanuma (1-2), the first of five Lee pitchers in the game, took the loss.
North Alabama plays at Montevallo Wednesday at 5 p.m.
