CARROLLTON, Ga., – Lexie Bradley recorded team-high numbers in kills and digs as the University of North Alabama volleyball team swept West Georgia Tuesday night on the road. The 25-10, 25-13, 25-21 win gives the Lions a 13-3 overall record, including a 3-1 showing in Gulf South Conference play.

UNA dominated the first two sets before rallying to win the third. The Wolves led 18-12 in the final frame before the Lions closed the set on a 13-3 run. Madison Ruble had two kills and Bradley had a kill and a service ace to make the score 18-16 and prompt a UWG timeout.

The two teams traded points until the Lions took advantage of a pair of West Georgia errors to tie the score at 20-20. UNA took a 21-20 lead on a kill by Ana Gabriela Pacheco and never trailed again. A kill by Jessica Austin gave the Lions a match point and a ball handling error against the Wolves ended the contest.

Bradley hit .423 and notched 13 kills on the night. The senior from Florence added eight digs for the Lions. Austin also had nine kills and a .615 hitting percentage while Jayden Davila-McClary turned in 26 assists.

North Alabama returns home for its next GSC match on Friday against UAH. Match time is set for 7 p.m. at Flowers Hall.
