FLORENCE, Ala. -- Kennesaw State scored runs in each of the first six innings and went on to a 14-4 win over North Alabama in the final game of an ASUN Conference series.
UNA is now 4-25 overall and 3-9 in ASUN play. Kennesaw State is now 19-8 overall and 7-2 in the ASUN.
North Alabama fell behind 7-0 before scoring three runs in the fourth inning on an RBI-single from
Austin Thrasher and a two-run single by
Levi Jensen.
The Owls answered with a three run fifth inning and pushed their advantage to 11-3 in the sixth.
UNA's final run came in the seventh when
Devne Daniel singled, went to second on a wild pitch, advanced to third on a passed ball and scored on a wild pitch.
Kennesaw State added three more runs in the ninth to make the final count 14-4.
UNA was out hit 18 to nine if the game. The Lions were led by Barnett and Jensen with two hits each.

Kyle Moore (0-5) took the loss, allowing seven runs on 12 hits over three and two-thirds innings.
The Lions host Belmont on Tuesday at 5 p.m. at Mike Lane Field.
