Morgan Ebert and
Grace Lensing have been named to the 2022 College Sports Communicators Division i Women's Soccer Academic All-District Team.
Both were previously selected to the ASUN Conference Women's Soccer All-Academic Team.
The 2022 Academic All-District® Women's Soccer Teams, selected by College Sports Communicators, recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the field and in the classroom. The CSC Academic All-America® program separately recognizes soccer honorees in four divisions — NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III and NAIA.
Academic All-District® honorees advance to the CSC Academic All-America® ballot. First-, second- and third-team Academic All-America® honorees will be announced in early December.
Ebert and Lensing are both five-year members of the UNA women's soccer program and both competed as graduate students during the recent 2022 season. They have been members of the UNA program for the entire four-year Division I transition, as well as the first year of full Division I membership.
Ebert started all 18 matches in the 2022 and started all 64 of her career matches at UNA. She graduated from UNA in May of 2022 and earned the Keller Key Award, which is presented to the student or students with the highest grade-point average from the graduating senior class. She graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice degree with a perfect 4.00 GPA. She is pursuing a Masters degree in Criminal Justice.
Lensing started in 63 of her 80 career matches at North Alabama. She earned a Bachelor's degree from UNA in Exercise Science and is Pursuing a Masters degree in Biology. Lensing has maintained a 4.0 GPA and has already been accepted to Physical Therapy School.
