JACKSONVILLE, Fla. (October 30, 2025) – The Atlantic Sun Conference (ASUN) announced today that the EKU at North Alabama men's basketball contest on Sunday, Feb. 15, has been selected and added to the ESPN Family of Networks.
The game at CB&S Bank Arena in Florence, Ala., will air on ESPNU at 3 p.m. CT. This marks the seventh consecutive year an ASUN Men's Basketball regular season contest broadcasts on ESPNU.
This will mark the first time UNA has hosted a nationally-televised game inside Flowers Hall and CB&S Bank Arena.
February's game will be the eighth all-time meeting between the two programs with the Colonels holding a slight 4-3 edge in the previous matchups. UNA is coming off a 24-11 campaign that saw
Tony Pujol lead the Lions to the ASUN Regular Season title as well as a trip to the tournament final and the program's first NIT appearance. EKU made its fourth-consecutive appearance in the conference tournament. The Colonels have made the postseason in each of their four seasons as members of the ASUN. A.W. Hamilton enters his seventh year heading the EKU program with the team earning third in the preseason coaches poll as well as the ASUN Preseason Player of the Year honor for Montavious Myrick. The Lions were selected to finish second by the league's coaches and first by the media in the preseason rankings.
The 2026 ASUN Men's Basketball Tournament takes place in Jacksonville, Fla., and begins on Wednesday, March 4, with first-round action hosted on campus sites. The quarterfinals through championship final are being held at VyStar Veterans Memorial Arena, located downtown, providing an elite championship experience for ASUN student-athletes, families, and fans and elevating the profile of ASUN Basketball. On Sunday, March 8, the tournament finale will determine which team represents the Atlantic Sun Conference in the 2026 NCAA Tournament is set to broadcast live on ESPN2.
