UNA 2021: Played in 31 games with 18 starts…Started 12 games in center field, five in left field and one as the designated hitter…Hit .185 (12-of-65) with eight runs scored and four runs batted in…Three doubles, one triple and one home run…Hit a two-run, pinch hit home run in the top of the ninth inning at Austin Peay to give UNA a 15-14 lead but the Lions couldn’t hold the lead and lost 16-15...It was UNA’s first pinch hit home run of the season and just the second of the Division I era.…Slugged .308 with a .321 on base percentage…Walked 12 times, hit-by-pitch once and struckout 29 times…One sacrifice fly and was five-of-six on stolen base attempts…Fielded .975 with one error in 40 chances…Longest hitting streak of the season was two games…Had two multi-hit games (at Tennessee Tech and vs. Kennesaw State) and one multi-RBI game (at Austin Peay)…UNA 2020:  Saw action in eight games as a pinch runner or pinch hitter...No hits in two pinch-hit at bats with two strikeouts...Scored two runs as a pinch runner and was two-for-two on stolen base attempts...UNA 2019:  Redshirted at UNA in 2019...HIGH SCHOOL:  Played in the outfield at Brentwood Academy for head coach Buddy Alexander… Helped lead the team to a state runner-up finish and to the TSSAA State Championship… Named to the TSSAA All-Senior team and all-region team 2016-18… Also lettered in basketball…PERSONAL: Full name is Garrett Blake Smith….
