HARFORD CC 2020-21: Bell appeared in 12 games on the hill for Harford as a reliever… compiled an 0-1 record with three saves and a 4.76 ERA… finished 17.0 innings with 19 strikeouts… allowed nine earned runs, 13 walks, and 13 hits… held opponents to just a .200 batting average… tossed a season-high 3.0 innings to pick up the save without allowing an earned run against Anne Arundel CC (Mar. 2)… totaled a season-best three strikeouts in 2.0 innings of work against Hagerstown CC (Mar. 20) and again in 2.0 innings on the mound at College of Southern Maryland (Apr. 18)… started the year with five appearances without allowing an earned run… worked multiple innings six times… tallied multiple punch-outs in six games… turned in five scoreless appearances out of the pen and did not allow an earned run in eight contests. Bell made two appearances out of the bullpen for Harford before the remainder of the season was canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic… earned a 2-0 record with a 0.00 ERA… completed 5.0 innings with six strikeouts… allowed just one unearned run, one walk, and five hits… made his collegiate debut with season-highs of 4.0 innings and five strikeouts to earn the win over Mercer County CC (Mar. 2)… also picked up the win with 1.0 inning of one-hit ball against Garrett College (Mar. 7).

HIGH SCHOOL: Bell was a three-year letterwinner as a pitcher for head coach Scott Rowland at Centreville High School in Centreville, Va.… led CHS to a No. 6 ranking in Northern Virginia as a senior, the highest final ranking in school history… also helped lead the Wildcats to the Virginia State baseball tournament as a senior… helped his team set the program’s all-time wins record… completed his career with 101 innings pitched, 121 strikeouts, 40 walks, a 1.52 ERA, and 1.12 WHIP… was a three-time All-Concorde District honoree… collected All-Regional honors in 2019… named a 2018 Perfect Game Preseason Underclassmen All-American Honorable Mention and a 2019 Perfect Game Preseason All-Atlantic Region Honorable Mention… ranked the No. 31 right-handed pitcher in Virginia by Perfect Game… was a three-time World Wood Bat Association All-Tournament selection.
