UNA VOLLEYBALL SWEEPS UNION AT HOME

FLORENCE – The University of North Alabama volleyball team broke at two-match skid with a 3-0 sweep over Union Friday evening at Flowers Hall. The 25-20, 25-13, 25-13 victory gives the Lions a 19-6 overall record and 7-2 mark in Gulf South Conference play.
 
Lexie Bradley led all players with 11 kills while Jessica Austin hit .562 with 10 kills on the night. Jayden Davila-McClary turned in 36 assists while Ashtyn Kapovich led all defensive players with 12 digs.
 
Union (12-13 overall, 2-8 GSC) did not have a player reached double figures in kills or digs. The Bulldogs hit .038 for the match.
 
UNA will host Christian Brothers on Saturday. Match time is set for 1 p.m. at Flowers Hall.
