BRADLEY LEADS LIONS TO SWEEP OVER CBU

MEMPHIS, Tenn., – Lexie Bradley hit .391 with 21 kills to lead the University of North Alabama volleyball team to a 3-0 road win at Christian Brothers on Friday. The win clinches a spot for the Lions in the upcoming Gulf South Conference Tournament.

The 25-19, 25-9, 25-20 victory is the fifth straight win for UNA and gives the team a 23-6 overall record with an 11-2 mark in GSC play. Bradley, a senior from Florence, also added six digs and a pair of blocks on the night.

Christian Brothers (14-16 overall, 6-7 GSC) hit under .100 in all three sets. The Lions hit .265 for the match, including a .424 clip in the second set while holding the Bucs to single digits. Bradley had nine kills in the frame.

Jessica Austin added nine kills for the match with a .375 hitting percentage. Jayden Davila-McClary had 31 assists and 11 digs for her 13th double-double of the season. Ashtyn Kapovich led all defensive players with a match-high 17 digs.

UNA will play at Union on Saturday. Match time is set for 1 p.m. on the UU campus in Jackson, Tenn.
