FLORENCE, Ala. (August 22, 2023) – The University of North Alabama football team opens the 2023 season in four days at the FCS Kickoff on Saturday, August 26 at 2:30 p.m. inside the Cramton Bowl in Montgomery, Ala. against Mercer.

During fall camp, a number of Lion Legends made appearances on campus to address the team and to visit the current program. Three of those UNA football greats were also able to catch up with "Voice of the Lions" Benjamin Ray for a special series of Lion Vision Update interviews leading into the FCS Kickoff game this weekend. The second of the three interviews features former UNA head coach Bobby Wallace, who remains the winningest coach in program history and led UNA to three national championship victories and four national championship appearances.

All three interviews — including Coach Wallace and former players Cody Gross and Dr. Hamp Moore — will air on roarlions.com and on UNA's various social media platforms throughout the day.
