Box Score CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. (April 25, 2025) – The University of North Alabama baseball team dropped the first game of an Atlantic Sun Conference road series against Austin Peay on Friday, 12-0.
The Lions (15-24, 10-9 ASUN) were led by
Petey Craska offensively as he went 1-for-2 with a double and was hit by a pitch. UNA had two hits for the game.
Nash Rippen added the other hit in the top of the second as he singled through the right side.
Austin Peay (32-10, 16-3 ASUN) had 11 hits to go along with nine RBIs for the game. The Govs used a six run second inning to propel them to the win.
North Alabama threw two pitchers for the night. Freshman
Tripp Patterson earned the start and went four innings and threw two strikeouts.
Hunter Bell came in for relief and struck out one in the final two innings.
This evens the season series, as North Alabama won two of three games at Mark Lee Legacy Field at Patriot Park in Muscle Shoals, Ala. just two weeks ago.
