Athletic Trainers supervise and administer the services of prevention, recognition, management, and rehabilitation of injuries sustained by student-athletes. We are responsible for all instances that affect the health and welfare of the collegiate student-athlete, as well as manage the complete health and safety needs of the collegiate student-athlete. This includes, participation, conditioning, protective equipment, nutritional concerns, and maintenance of safe playing fields and facilities.  Athletic Training is an allied medical profession.
