 The
University of North Alabama and Coach Bobby Champagne
will host a summer basketball camp. This summer’s camp will be
held at Flowers Hall on the UNA campus and will be conducted by
UNA coaching staff, along with college and high school coaches
from around the area. During the camp, members of the UNA Lion
basketball team will serve as counselors and leaders in daily camp
activities. The camps offer an outstanding player-to-coach ratio
and will feature a veteran camp coaching staff. The camps will
include a good mix of fundamental, drills, games, contests and
fun. The focus of the camp is on total player development in a
highly spirited environment. All camps will have an athletic
trainer on hand for all sessions.
Fundamentals:
Shooting
Mechanics -- Rebounding -- Defense -- Passing & Ball Handling
What to Bring:
Basketball shoes, socks,
shorts, t-shirt for each day. Option to buy lunch or bring for
your own Sessions I & II. Drinks will be provided for lunch. Snack
Bar, camp store, and camp bank will be open throughout.
