TROY – The University of North Alabama women's tennis team let an early 2-0 lead slip away as host Troy scored five straight points to rally for the win on Saturday. The Lions are 2-6 after the third straight loss.

UNA swept all three doubles matches to grab a 1-0 lead. Kalais Going then gave the Lions a 2-0 advantage with a 6-1, 6-4 victory at No. 5 singles.

The Trojans got on the scoreboard with a win at the top singles position before taking the lead with consecutive three-set victories at No. 4 and No. 2 singles. The clinching match came at No. 6 before Troy finished the scoring with a win at No. 3.

North Alabama hosts UAB on March 2. Match time is set for 1 p.m. at the UNA Varsity Tennis Courts.
