JACKSONVILLE, Ala. --
Valeria San Miguel took a straight set win at No. 4 but that would be the only team point for the North Alabama women's tennis team as the Lions dropped an ASUN Conference match at Jacksonville State, 6-1.
JSU claimed the doubles point with wins at No. 2 and No. 3. The Gamecocks then took straight-set wins at five positions to take the team win.
San Miguel defeated JSU's Polina Ramenskaja 7-5, 6-2 at No. 4.
