FLORENCE, Ala. (October 23, 2025) – The University of North Alabama volleyball team will compete at home in Atlantic Sun Conference play this weekend against the EKU Colonels and Bellarmine Knights inside CB&S Bank Arena.
North Alabama begins the weekend against the Colonels on Friday, Oct. 24 at 6 p.m. UNA faces the Knights on Sunday, Oct. 26 at 1 p.m.
Both matches will be available for streaming on ESPN+, and live stats will be provided through StatBroadcast. Full results and a recap will be posted on RoarLions.com following the action, but fans can also follow along in real time on the UNA Volleyball social media pages.
Fans are encouraged to arrive early for the match, as parking is limited due to ongoing construction. As such, the lot near the Hal Self Athletic Annex will be unavailable. Violators will be towed if parked in the construction zone.
Fans are encouraged to park in Lot O below the arena, the Science Building lot or in the parking deck across from the arena. Limited handicap parking will be available in front of the CB&S Bank Arena ticket office.

NOTES
SCOUTING THE LIONS: North Alabama is back in CB&S Bank Arena after splitting its last two contests against West Georgia and Queens. The Lions defeated the Wolves in three sets on Oct. 17 before falling in five sets against the Royals on Oct. 19. UNA is 11-10 overall while 5-3 in conference play, and the Lions have won three of their last four contests. In home matches, North Alabama is 6-1 overall while unbeaten in ASUN play at 4-0. The Lions lead opponents in kills (364-300), assists (336-282), aces (49-33), digs (386-365) and blocks (38-36) in home matches.
"SETTING" THE TONE: Sophomore Kinslee McGowan is second in the ASUN in assists per set (10.21) and leads with 796 assists. The sophomore is also second on the team in digs (178) and service aces (22).
KENDALL ON THE ATTACK: Junior Kendall Barnes leads the team with 282 kills. She ranks first in the ASUN in total kills and second in kills per set (3.66). Her 308.5 total points ranks first in the conference while ranking second in points per set (4.01). Barnes set a new career high with 31 kills against FGCU on Oct. 12.
ACING THE COMPETITION: Junior Olivia Fenoff has been an ace on serve with 31 on the season. Her ace totals rank her tied for second, and her 0.41 ace per set average is fourth in the ASUN.
RELIABLE RICKETTS: Sophomore Reese Ricketts is second on the team with 241 kills and ranks sixth in the ASUN with 3.17 kills per set. Ricketts additionally ranks seventh in the conference with 3.57 points per set.
SURGING SARGENT: Junior Nicole Sargent leads the team with a .331 hitting percentage. Her percentages rank her tied for sixth in the conference, totaling 118 kills on the season. She additionally leads the team with 50 blocks.
GARNER'S GAINS: Sophomore Dylann Garner has been making strides in year two with the Lions. She's third on the team with 165 kills and 33 blocks. Garner exploded in the season's second match with 21 kills against SEMO on August 30.
CALLING ON KOLOSTA: Freshman Jenna Kolosta has had a solid start at middle blocker with a season stat line of 65 kills, 31 blocks and 18 digs. Kolosta earned her first career award on Sept. 8 with the ASUN Freshman of the Week honor.
DIGGIN' DEEP: Junior Ava Martindale leads the team with 250 total digs and a 3.21 digs per set average.
AMONG THE RANKS: UNA is ranked in the top 100 nationally in a number of individual statistics as of Oct. 22. McGowan is sixth in the NCAA in total assists while 26th in assists per set. Fenoff is 56th nationally in total service aces and 85th in aces per set. Barnes is 58th in total kills while 78th in points.
MILESTONE LIONS: North Alabama has seen several milestones achieved the season. Fenoff tallied her 50th career service ace against Grambling State on Aug. 30. McGowan registered her 500th career assist against Alabama A&M on Sept. 2. Head Coach Tristan Johnson won his 50th career match on Sept. 12 in a three-set home sweep over Western Carolina. Ricketts surpassed 500 career kills against McNeese on Sept. 19. Sophomore Lankford Gurner set a Division I program record with six aces against Lipscomb on Sept. 28. McGowan also set a Division I program record with 60 assists against FGCU on Oct. 12.
SCOUTING EKU: The Colonels enter the weekend at 13-7 with a 5-3 ASUN record. EKU split its last weekend's matches, taking a three-set sweep at North Florida on Oct. 17. The Colonels lead the conference in opponent hitting percentage (.193). They're also second in assists (12.82 per set) and kills (13.47) while third in points (16.89), hitting percentage (.249), opponent kills (12.00) and digs (14.95). The leader in points and kills is Addison Burke with 275.5 points and 231 kills. EKU is led by Head Coach Johnna Bazzani.
SERIES HISTORY VS. THE COLONELS: This marks the eighth all-time series meeting with the Colonels leading 4-3. The teams split two contests in 2024 with the Lions defeating EKU in four-sets at home on Oct. 4.
SCOUTING BELLARMINE: The Knights are 9-11 overall and 3-5 in the ASUN. Bellarmine's last outing resulted in a 3-1 road win against North Florida on Oct. 18. The Knights are second in the ASUN in opponent service aces with 1.26. Natalie Bland leads the team with 268 points and 238 kills this season. Bellarmine's head coach is Rick Nold.
SERIES HISTORY VS. THE KNIGHTS: North Alabama and Bellarmine meet for the 11th time in the series history. The Lions defeated the Knights in a four-set home bout on Oct. 6 during the 2024 season.
