Biography

UNA 2019: Daniel played in 19 games last season, including 15 starts…she batted .321 after going 17-for-53 at the plate, including a double and an RBI…had a .685 on-base percentage and was 5-for-5 in stolen base attempts…had five multiple-hit games on the year.

UNA 2018: She saw action in 32 games, mostly as a pinch-runner in 2018...was 1-for-8 at the plate...scored 13 runs and was 2-for-2 in stolen base attempts.

UNA 2017: She played in 44 games as a true freshman in 2017...started 15 games, averaging .265 at the plate...recorded 13 hits, including a triple...drove in six runs...was 11-for-13 in stolen base attempts...had three straight multiple-hit games, including a 3-for-4, two-RBI showing on Feb. 10 against Ursuline.

HIGH SCHOOL: She played at Wilson High School in Florence for coach Laura Franks...played in the outfield as the Warriors won three straight area championships from 2013-15...also helped lead the team to state playoff appearances in 2011 and 2016...posted the highest batting average on the team in 2014 and 2015...was named team Offensive MVP in 2014...also lettered in volleyball and basketball for the Class 4A Warriors.

PERSONAL: Her full name is Madison Anne Daniel. She is the daughter of Russell and Trilina Danial. She was born on October 25, 1997 and has one sister, Mackenzie. She is majoring in applied exercise science at UNA.
