UNA 2020: Edwards saw limited action in 2020, playing in two games.

COLLEGE: She played two seasons at Wallace State Community College for coach AJ Daugherty...helped lead the Lions to a conference championship in 2018 and was a two-time Academic All-American...batted .326 with six home runs...added a .550 slugging percentage and a .458 on-base percentage...also had a .958 fielding percentage and turned eight double plays.

HIGH SCHOOL: She played middle infield for coach Al Rauls at Buckhorn High School...helped lead the Bucks the 2017 Class 7A state championship as a senior...earned state all-tournament honors in 2015 and 2017...was an AHSAA All-State selection as a senior in 2017.

PERSONAL: Her full name is Sidney Marie Edwards. She is the daughter of Greg Edwards and Tonya Owens. She was born on January 24, 1999 and has one sister, Taylor Drake. She is majoring in business management at UNA.
