Biography

UNA 2021: Stokes played and started all 38 games at first base for the Lions last season…she posted a .250 batting average after going 25-for-100 at the plate…had a .570 slugging percentage after posting team-leading numbers that included nine home runs, three doubles and 25 RBI...also had a triple on May 1 at North Florida...homered at Lipscomb to become UNA's all-time home run leader and finished the season with 35 career blasts...had four multiple-RBI games, including a pair of games with four runs driven in.

UNA 2020: She played and started in 22 games in 2020...batted .313 and led the team with a .672 slugging percentage...also posted team-leading numbers with six doubles and five home runs...had three multiple-RBI games...was 3-for-3 with a double, a triple, a home run and four RBI on Feb. 22, against Howard.

UNA 2019: She started all 46 games for the Lions in 2019…batted .288 on the year and led the team with 27 RBI…was 42-for-146 at the plate and also led the team with six doubles, 10 home runs and a .534 slugging percentage…had a 10-game hitting streak and led the team with 19 multiple-RBI games, including a five-RBI performance against Kennesaw State in the opening round of the ASUN Tournament.

UNA 2018: She saw action in 32 games, including 19 starts as a true freshman in 2018...was 29-for-69 at the plate for a .420 batting average...led the team with 11 home runs and had a 1.014 slugging percentage...added four doubles and two triples on the year...had 10 games with multiple RBI, including four games with at least three runs driven in...went 3-for-3 with a pair of home runs on March 24 against Mississippi College.

HIGH SCHOOL: She played in the infield for coach Lori-Wyatt at Hale County High School...helped lead the team to three consecutive Class 4A state titles (2014-2016)…was named Super 9 MVP in 2015 and 2016…holds school records for most career home runs (42) and most home runs in a season at (19).

PERSONAL: Her full name is Harley Jo Stokes. She is the daughter of Joey Stokes and Kathy Woods. She was born on April 5, 1999 and has three sisters. She is majoring in applied exercise physiology at UNA.
