Biography

UNA 2015: Garcia went 6-9 in singles play as a true freshman as the Lions posted a 13-6 record in 2015...he was 6-8 at the No. 3 position and 0-1 at the No. 2 spot...also went 6-10 in doubles play at the No. 2 and No. 3 positions...teamed with Max Druppel to go 2-1 at No. 2 doubles.

UNA 2016: Earned second team All-Gulf South Conference honors as a sophomore in 2016...helped lead UNA to a 12-5 record, including the program's return to the NCAA Regional Tournament for the first time since 2008...went 9-4 in singles matches, posting records of 1-1 at No. 2, 5-2 at No. 3 and 3-1 at No. 4...finished with a 7-2 singles record in Gulf South Conference play...led the team with 12 wins in doubles play, posting a 12-4 record at the No. 2 and No. 3 positions...had a 9-2 record at No. 3 singles, including an 8-2 mark with teammate Taylor Ausbon.

UNA 2017: Posted a 10-8 record in singles play, including a 6-6 mark at the top spot...was 4-2 at No. 2 singles...earned second team All-GSC honors again after recording a 5-3 singles record in league play...went 16-4 in double play, teaming with Taylor Ausbon in all 20 matches at the No. 2 and No. 3 spots...helped lead the Lions to a 14-6 record and return trip to the NCAA Tournament.
