Visiting ATC Guide

The University of North Alabama Sports Medicine Staff would like to welcome you to Florence, AL. The sports medicine staff has a mission to administer quality athletic health care. In order to do this, a certified/licensed athletic trainer will be on site for all games and matches. The main athletic training room is located on the first floor of the Hal Self Field House.

Visiting teams are welcome to utilize our athletic training room for taping and/or treatment. The Johnny O. Long athletic training room is equipped with modalities and equipment that is listed below. Also, all emergency equipment as well as what is provided at each bench is listed below. All modalities must be used by a certified/licensed athletic trainer. In the event the visiting team does not travel with a member of their athletic training staff, we will provide athletic training services provided we receive prior notification (preferably 2 days in advance) and the visiting team has appropriate supplies.
