Austin Racine enters his first season as student assistant coach for the North Alabama men's tennis team. The Pensacola, Fla., native played his senior season for the Lions after lettering his first three years at Troy University.
At UNA, Racine posted an 11-6 record in singles play, including an 8-4 mark in Gulf South Conference play. He went 11-6 in doubles play, with a 10-5 record at the No. 1 spot. He finished his doubles career in the GSC Tournament with an 8-2 win over West Alabama's 13th-ranked duo of Julius Kaverinen and Linus Holthey.
At Troy, Racine compiled a 19-14 singles record, including a 7-5 showing as a true freshman in 2015. He went 18-19 in doubles play with his best season coming in 2017 during a 7-5 campaign.
