After a four-year standout career at North Alabama, Miguel Garcia enters his first season as student assistant coach for the UNA men's team.
The three-time All-Gulf South Conference selection was also an Academic All-GSC pick in 2018 after posting a 3.52 GPA in professional marketing and sales. On the court, the Tenerife, Spain, native ended his senior season ranked No. 48 in the ITA rankings.
During his career, Garcia played in 68 matches. He posted a 36-26 record in singles play and helped lead the UNA men to back-to-back appearances in the NCAA Division II Tournament. He went 43-25 in doubles play, including a 16-4 mark during his junior season in 2017.
