UNA 2017: Girao played in 19 matches as a true freshman in 2017...he went 6-7 in singles play including a 1-0 record at the No. 3 spot...was 2-2 in Gulf South Conference matches...went 6-13 in doubles play after seeing action in all three positions...went 1-1 at No. 1, 2-5 at No. 2 and 3-7 at No. 3...helped the Lions post a 14-6 overall record and return trip to the NCAA Regional Tournament.
