Biography

UNA 2021: Revels saw action in the circle in 12 games, including 11 starts…she had a 4-6 record with 3.14 ERA during 55.2 innings pitched…had 24 strikeouts and an opponent’s batting average of .256...scattered two hits in a complete-game 7-1 win over Bellarmine on March 13.

UNA 2020: She made nine appearances with six starts in the circle last season...went 4-0 on the year with a 2.20 ERA...was second on the UNA pitching staff with 32.2 innings pitched...struck out 33 batters and notched two shutouts, two complete games and one save.

UNA 2019: She had 10 pitching starts on the year, posting a 3-4 record and totaling 17 overall appearances…pitched two complete games and had a 2.32 ERA with 46 strikeouts…had two shutouts, including a one-hitter on Feb. 24 at Jackson State where she struck out 11 in five innings of work.

HIGH SCHOOL: She pitched and played in the infield for coach Stephanie Pippin at Holmes County High School...helped lead the Lady Devils to district and regional championships as a senior, as well as a state tournament berth in 2018...broke the school's career record for most strikeouts.

PERSONAL: Her full name is Sidney Raye Revels. She is the daughter of Shannon and Misty Revels. She was born on February 13, 2000 and has one brother, Hayden. She is majoring in exercise science at UNA.
