Cayla Dee Crawford enters her first year as the Travel Coordinator after working in the sports information office as a student worker for four years.
While working in sports information, Crawford assisted in the day-to-day duties of the department, including the archiving of statistical and photo data, writing bios and website maintenance. Crawford still serves as the primary inputter for volleyball games, the stats caller for basketball games, the participation logger for football games and the scoreboard operator for soccer, baseball and softball.
"Cayla Dee has been a fixture in the athletic department since her freshman year," said Assistant AD for Communications Mike Ezekiel. "Her ability to learn every aspect of the athletic communications field makes her one of the most valuable members of our team. I have full confidence in Cayla Dee as she continues to take on more responsibilities at UNA, and I am excited to watch as her career progresses. Every athletic department needs a Cayla Dee Crawford."
Crawford is from Florence, Alabama and is a 2021 graduate of Central High School. She graduated in Fall 2024 with a degree in accounting and is now in graduate school pursuing a master of accountancy.
