Todd Vardaman is a long-time member of the North Alabama Athletic Department, serving various roles. In 2023, Vardaman became the dedicated liaison for the Name, Image and Likeness efforts at UNA.

Prior to his role involving UNA's NIL efforts, Vardaman served as Senior Associate Athletic Director for Administration starting June 3, 2019.

Prior to his promotion in 2019, Vardaman served as Compliance Coordinator starting in 2009 after serving UNA for nine years as University Ticket Manager and eight years as assistant sports information director. He had also served as Executive Director of the UNA Sportsmans' Club.

Vardaman's primary responsibilities in the sports information office were with the volleyball, men's and women's basketball and softball teams. A 1990 graduate of UNA with a B.S. in Radio, Television and Film, Vardaman worked at Reynold's Metals Company before being hired at UNA in October of 1993.
