CLINTON, Miss. --
Chloe Richards scored a goal with four seconds left in the second overtime to give the University of North Alabama a 2-1 win over Mississippi College and move the Lions into a tie for the Gulf South Conference lead at 9-2 in league play.
The goal, Richards second of the day and 28th of the season, came at the 109:56 mark off an assist from
Eleanor Costello and raised the Lions record to 13-2-1.
Mississippi College took the early lead when Jess Davenport scored in the 19th minute off an assist from Sydney Oliver.
UNA tied the match at 69:50 when Richards scored unassisted to make it 1-1.
The match remain tied until Richards delivered the game-winner at the end of the second overtime.
UNA outshot Mississippi College 25 to 13 in the match.

North Alabama hosts Delta State in its regular season finale on Sunday at 1 p.m. at the UNA Soccer Field. A win by the Lions would earn UNA the right to host the semifinals and finals of the Gulf South Conference Tournament on November 6th and 8th.
