ABILENE, Texas -- The University of North Alabama allowed four first half goals and went on to drop a 5-2 decision to Abilene Christian in anon-conference women's soccer match.
The loss was UNA's third straight after a 2-2 start to the season. Abilene Christian improved to 4-2 with the win.
ACU got three goals within the first 15 minutes of the match before UNA could get on the board. The Wildcats then added a fourth goal with just 40 seconds remaining in the first half for a 4-1 lead. Each team the added a second half goal for the 5-2 final.
Shay Johnson scored ACU's first goal at 5:36, followed by Caylen Wright at 12:18 and Natalie Jones at 15:00.
UNA's
Shelby Wall netted her sixth goal of the season at the 38:09 mark and ACU's Brooke Lenz made it 4-1 at 44:20.
Jones scored her second goal of the night for .Abilene Christian in the 82nd minute and UNA got a final goal from Wall at 86:45. Wall's seventh goal of the season moves her into the individual lead in the ASUN Conference.

Jordyn Spreck had three saves and allowed four goals in the first half. Senior
Kate Webster had three saves in the second half and allowed one goal.
UNA was out-shot 20-16 in the match.
