NASHVILLE, Tenn., – Ivy Wallen led four University of North Alabama women's basketball players in double figures as the Lions recorded an 84-72 win at Lipscomb Saturday in ASUN Conference play. The victory gives UNA a 12-3 overall record and 3-0 mark in league games.

Wallen scored 28 points, including 19 in the second half as UNA built a 20-point lead before holding off a late charge by the Bisons.

The Lions took a 16-point lead into the half and extended it midway through the third quarter. Wallen scored five straight points, including a jumper to make the score 52-32 with 5:30 remaining.

Lipscomb, however, closed the gap to 10 by the end of the period and continued the rally into the fourth quarter. UNA missed its first three shots of the quarter while the Bisons hit three straight. A jumper by Lipscomb's Casey Collier made the score 57-53 with 8:43 remaining.

North Alabama responded with a 7-0 run of its own to push the lead back to double digits. The home team would get no closer than six the rest of the way.

Nursing a 68-62 lead, Olivia Noah started another 9-1 run for the Lions with a three-point basket from the left wing. Wallen later capped the run with two free throws to make the score 77-63 at the 2:23 mark. Lipscomb would not threaten again.
