MEN’S TENNIS FALLS TO TOLEDO

CHATTANOOGA, Tenn., – The University of North Alabama men's tennis team dropped a 7-0 neutral-site match to Toledo Wednesday at the UTC Tennis Courts in Chattanooga. The loss leaves UNA with a 2-12 record on the season.
 
After getting victories at the top two doubles spots, the Rockets swept through singles play to improve to 10-6 on the year. Andreas Hansen had the strongest showing for the Lions, falling 6-2, 6-4 at No. 3 singles. He also teamed with Tim Heslin in a close match at No. 3 doubles when play was called.
 
The North Alabama men will return home to host Alabama State on Sunday. Match time is set for 1 p.m. at the UNA Varsity Tennis Courts.
