SOCCER LIONS FALL LATE AT KENNESAW STATE

KENNESAW, Ga. -- With the match scoreless with under nine minutes to play, Kennesaw State got two goals from Erin Harris and held on for a 2-0 ASUN Conference women's soccer win over North Alabama.

With the loss, UNA is now 1-6 overall and 0-4 in ASUN play. Kennesaw State is 3-6 and 2-2 in the ASUN.

North Alabama was out-shot 18 to nine in the match.

Harris first goal came at the 81:22 mark and she followed five minutes later with her second goal at 86:16.

UNA goalkeeper Payton Yates had three saves and did not allow a goal in the first half. Savannah Stewart saw her first action of the season, playing the full second half in goal. She had five saves, while allowing two goals.

UNA has been shutout in five of its last six matches.

The Lions continue conference play at Bellarmine on March 18.
