DELAND, Fla., - After winning the doubles point, Stetson swept through singles play to record a 7-0 victory over the University of North Alabama women's tennis team on Sunday. With the loss, the Lions fall to 3-17 overall and 1-6 in ASUN Conference play while Stetson improves to 18-2, 6-1.

The Hatters took the early lead in doubles play with 6-1 and 6-2 victories at the No. 2 and No. 3 spots respectively. No. 1 doubles went unfinished with Juliette Talieu and Kalais Going leading 5-2.

In singles play, Stetson won in the No. 4 and No. 6 spots before clinching the match in the No. 3 position 6-1, 6-4. The Hatters then closed out the match with wins in the three final singles matches.

For the Lions in singles play, Payton Andrews, and Sydney Flesch both went to three sets in the No. 1 and No. 2 spots respectively.

UNA will continue conference play against Kennesaw State on Thursday, April 14. Match time is set for 10 a.m. at the UNA Varsity Tennis Courts.
