CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. – Hailey Jones had four hits, scored three runs and drove in three more to help lead the University of North Alabama softball team to an ASUN Conference double-header sweep of Austin Peay, 6-3 and 8-3.

With the sweep, the Lions are now 26-11-1 overall and 8-8-1 in the ASUN.

UNA took an early lead in the opening game when Georgia Land drove in Jones with a sacrifice fly in the top of the first inning.

Austin Peay then went up 2-1 with two runs in the second before UNA tied it with a run in the third. Gracie Benton drove in Jones with a sacrifice fly of her own. The Governors went back on top 3-2 before Land tied it in the fifth inning with a solo home run.

The game remained tied until the top of the seventh when UNA scored three. Jones solo home run gave UNA a 4-3 lead and a two-run Benton home run made the final count 6-3.
