Biography
2019 BEACH: Ladner saw action in 21 matches during UNA's first-ever beach volleyball season in 2019...she posted a 2-19 record, getting both victories over Jacksonville State at the No. 3 position with teammate Sina Faulk.
UNA INDOOR: Ladner also played the 2018 season for the UNA indoor volleyball team...she played in 25 matches, with nine starts at defensive specialist and seven at libero...recorded 35 kills, 17 assists and 180 digs on the year...notched career-high totals of 10 kills at Chattanooga and 16 digs at North Florida.
HIGH SCHOOL: She prepped at Hancock High School under coaches Rick, Morgan and Jesse Rechtien…played outside hitter and hit .344 with 456 digs, 749 kills, 46 blocks, 162 aces and 10 assists...helped lead the team to four straight district championships from 2014-17, state runner-up finishes in 2014 and 2015, a state championship in 2016 and another Final Four appearance the following year...was a two-time first team All-State selection in 2015 and 2016 with second-team honors in 2017...also earned multiple all-district and all-region honors.
PERSONAL: Her full name is Catherine Ann Ladner. She is the daughter of Wallace Ladner and Brandi Donohoe. She was born on December 1, 1999 and has one sister. She is majoring in biology at UNA.
