UNA 2022: Birdyshaw lead Lion pitchers in both appearances (34) and starts (24) in 2022 … she had a team high 18 wins and 12 complete games … she tallied 139 strikeouts and only allowed 78 earned runs in 156 2/3 innings, good for a 3.49 ERA … she led the Lions in WHIP with a 1.17 … she pitched an eight inning complete game against Saint Louis on Feb. 12 where she had zero earned runs, three hits allowed and 13 strikeouts … she had a complete game shutout against Bradley on March 11.
 
UNA 2021: Birdyshaw saw action in 11 games, including seven starts in 2021 … she had a 4-2 record with an ERA of 4.05 in 36.1 innings pitched … had 44 strikeouts and an opponent’s batting average of .243 ... allowed one hit with 11 strikeouts in six innings of work during a 7-1 win over Southern on Feb. 26.

UNA 2020: She made seven appearances, including five starts in the circle as a true freshman for UNA in 2020 ... posted a 5-1 record and led the ASUN Conference with a 1.59 ERA ... held opponents to five earned runs in 28.1 innings pitched ... struck out 30 batters and had two shutouts and two complete games.

HIGH SCHOOL: She played for coach Brian Land at Lawrence County High School ... pitched and played first and second base ... helped lead the Wildcats to the 6 AAA substate, as well as a district championship her freshman and sophomore seasons ... was an all-district selection as a freshman and earned MVP and Pitcher of the Year honors as a sophomore, junior and senior ... finished her career with 864 strikeouts.
