Kelly Prachniak began her position as General Manager of Corporate Partnerships in the University of North Alabama Athletic Department in August of 2022.
Prachniak previously served as director of annual giving and special gifts for the University of Delaware Athletics from 2014 to 2022.
The former Kelly Erisman, she went to Delaware from West Chester (Pa.) University where she served the previous four years as assistant development director for WCU Athletics.
Prachniak was responsible for the management of the Delaware Athletics annual giving program and served as director of the Blue Hens Club. She worked closely with staff, coaches, alumni and volunteers and was instrumental in developing strategic initiatives to provide increased revenue in support of the mission of Delaware Athletics.
A native of Lancaster, Pa., Prachniak received her degree in biology with a minor in coaching from Shippensburg (Pa.) University in 2008 and received her master's degree in sports industry management from Georgetown University in 2010. While at Shippensburg, she was a four-year standout on the women's lacrosse team at attack and midfield.
She began her career as program coordinator at Most Valuable Kids in Washington, D.C. in 2010 and served as an event coordinator with Octagon in Charlotte, N.C. later that year.
Prachniak joined the West Chester University staff in 2011 and enjoyed outstanding success during her four years there. She achieved a 10 percent increase in donations through an annual family and friends campaign, coordinated fundraising golf tournaments and cultivated relationships with local businesses.
She married Jad Prachniak, the current North Alabama head baseball coach, on June 18, 2016. They have a daughter, Emilia.
