HIGH SCHOOL: Brown played at Helena High School for coach Chris Laatsch...helped lead the Huskies to consecutive Top 10 finishes in the Class 6A state tournament, including a runner-up showing as a senior in 2016-17...earned all-county and All-State honors as a senior after averaging 18.6 points, 4.1 assists, 8.2 rebounds and 2.2 blocked shots per game...was also selected to the AHSAA North-South All-Star and the Alabama-Georgia All-Star games.

PERSONAL: His full name is Jon Edward Brown. He is the son of Vince Brown and Leonetta Prevo. He was born on July 27, 1999 and has one brother, Vincent, and three sisters, Stacee, Jennifer and Victoria.
