FLORENCE – North Florida hit 13 three-point baskets and had four players in double figures during an 81-65 win over the University of North Alabama men's basketball team Saturday afternoon at Flowers Hall. The loss gives UNA a 6-9 overall record and evens the team ASUN Conference mark at 1-1 on the year.

The Ospreys shot 49 percent for the game and never trailed. The visitors hit four of their first six shots from long range to grab an early double-digit lead. A transition three-pointer put UNF ahead 22-11 with 12:33 remaining in the first half.

The deficit later reached 14 when a basket made the score 30-16 at the 6:55 mark. UNA got within seven points on a putback by Emanuel Littles, but could get no closer. North Florida held a late 10-point lead, but took a 37-29 lead into the break after Christian Agnew hit to free throws with less than a second remaining.
