SOCCER LIONS PLAY AT CHATTANOOGA FRIDAY

FLORENCE, Ala. -- After a 12-day layoff, the University of North Alabama women's soccer team will return to the pitch on Friday when the Lions face Chattanooga on the road at 3:00 p.m.

UNA, now 1-1 with a 4-1 win over Western Kentucky and a 5-0 loss at UAB, will face a Chattanooga squad that will be opening its season in the contest.

Chattanooga finished last season with a 9-6-4 mark that included a 1-0 win over UNA in Florence as the Mocs made a free kick with 18 seconds left in the match.

This will be UNA's last non-conference match, with the Lions opening ASUN Conference play at home against two-time defending champion Lipscomb at home at 6 p.m. on Thursday. March 4.
