NOTES

Series History: The University of North Alabama soccer team has an all-time record of 0-5 against Chattanooga. The two schools have met in each of the last five seasons, with the first meeting between the two schools coming in 2018. The two teams matched up most recently on Sept. 8 of last season, where the Mocs handed the Lions their first loss of the season with a 2-1 victory in Chattanooga.

Scouting Chattanooga: Chattanooga enters the contest with a 1-1-0 record and is coming off of a 1-0 victory over Tennessee Tech. Chattanooga finished 2022 with a record of 8-5-5. The Mocs are coached by Gavin McKinney who is in his ninth season at the helm of the women's soccer program.

Southern Indiana Recap: North Alabama erased an early 1-0 deficit on Sunday against the Screaming Eagles to close out their season opening road trip. After a USI goal in the 21st minute, Lion forward Olivia Heinert intercepted a pass intended for the Southern Indiana goalkeeper and found the back of the net. The 1-1 score would hold and the Lions would walk away with a draw.
