FLORENCE, Ala. (May 13, 2025) – The University of North Alabama women's tennis team earned a second postseason academic honor Tuesday morning with senior Stanislava Bobrovnikova being named to the College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District Team.
The senior won 30 matches this season while sporting a 15-5 singles record and 15-6 doubles record – all coming from the top flight.
In ASUN play, Bobrovnikova went 6-3 in singles play with wins over Austin Peay, Bellarmine, Lipscomb, Central Arkansas, FGCU and Queens. She went 6-2 in doubles play in the conference with victories over Austin Peay, Bellarmine, Lipscomb, EKU, Queens and North Florida.
Her regular season resulted in her first career First Team All-ASUN selection, along with being named to the Academic All-ASUN team. Bobrovnikova also won the conference Doubles Pair of the Year honor with teammate Eeva Ristola.
Bobrovnikova adds another accolade to her tally, with the senior now earning her fourth honor. This also marks the program's fifth postseason award from the ASUN or CSC – the most in the Division I era.
