Allen Williams was a two-year starting guard on UNA basketball teams in 1990 and 1991. He helped lead the Lions to an NCAA Division II National Championship title in 1991 as the Lions finished with a 29-4 record. He led that team in scoring (517) and assists (177), was selected to the All-Gulf South Conference team and to the NCAA Championship All-Tournament team in 1990-91.

As a senior he averaged 16.2 points per game and is one of just 13 players in UNA history to have scored more than 500 points in a season. He was 70-of-211 on three-pointers, 171-of-406 from the floor and 105-of-146 from the line. He also scored more than 30 points in a single game twice, including a 33-point performance in UNA's win over Troy in the South Region Championship Game. 

In 1990 he helped lead UNA to a 20-8 record as he averaged 14.5 points per game and dished out 117 assists. He was 58-of-158 on threes, 144-of-345 from the floor and 62-of-88 from the line. He also had 117 assists. 

A native of Clearwater, Fla., Williams played professional basketball over a four-year span in Germany, the Dominican Republic and the U.S. At the time of his induction he was assistant basketball coach at Shore Crest Prepatory School in Clearwater. He also does training and skill development with high school and middle school athletes.

He and his wife Lori have three children.
