A member of four straight Gulf South Conference championship volleyball teams at UNA from 1985-88, Pasaola (Pat) Swoope Jackson played on teams with a combined 111-50 record at UNA and defeated Jacksonville State in the championship match of the GSC tournament all four years of her career.Â
She was selected first-team All-GSC in 1987, All-GSC Tournament in 1986, 1987 and 1988, GSC Defensive Player of the Year in 1987 and All-South Region in 1987.Â
Her teams at UNA had records of 36-11, 23-19, 22-13 and 30-7.Â
A 1990 North Alabama graduate with a bachelor's degree in marketing and business administration, she went on to earn a Masters of Business Administration - Project Management from UNA in 2020. In fact, Pat, her husband Greg and son Chandler are all UNA graduates, and she and her husband also both hold Master’s degrees from UNA.Â
In 1999 she accepted a position with the Huntsville Madison County Chamber of Commerce. In her two years as a sales representative, her performance far surpassed anyone who had ever filled the position previously. She was then named Director of Membership in 2001.Â
She then moved to the Huntsville Hospital Health System in 2004.
Pat has since been a long-time Director of Customer Service with Huntsville Hospital Health System, a multi-hospital system that employs 15,000 staff members across the Tennessee Valley. Her title recently changed to Director of Patient Experience and Advocacy. Her responsibility, since 2004, has been to lead, develop and implement a comprehensive service excellence program for the Health System.Â
